Event place
- Main event (contests, demos etc.) will be held on June 21, 2014 in Prague Congress Centre (5. kvμtna 65, Prague 4, metro Vyehrad). Open for public 10-17, entrance free.
- Teams' Workshop will be on June 22, 2014 at Charles University. Information will be sent to registered participants via email.
Registrations
- Currently, 157 robots and 229 participants from 5 countries have registered. There are 101 participants (35 teams) registered for the Teams' Workshop.
- Now it is past the registration date. But if there are more robots wishing to participate, we can turn a blind eye to it for a nice cake ;-) Just the later the heavier it will be to do it...

Date confirmed
The date is confirmed - June 21-22. The place will be announced later.
"Contruction kit" contests
In all 2014 contests, the participants can select the "construction kit" variant. In such contest, the robots must be fully constructed from one selected general construction kit, for example Fischertechnik, Lego, Merkur, Meccano and such, with the exclusion of single-purpose specialized robot kits. The robot must be constructed fully from that kit, i.e. its structure, control, sensorics and actuation (drive). If the kit does not feature some of the mentioned areas, the participants may use anything else.
For example, the control unit is present in Lego but not in Meccano while the propulsion is present in both, therefore a robot built from Lego must have the Lego control unit (RCX, NXT, EV3) as well as Lego motors, robot built from Meccano must have Meccano motors but can have any control unit (be it Arduino, Raspberry Pi, your own or any other). You also have to equip your Lego robot with official Lego sensors and cannot use your own.
The contest rules remain without any change. In case of doubts, please consult the FAQ or contact us at the forum.

- Contests for robots prepared by the event participants
- Art presentations related to robotics
- Presentation of student projects regardless on the school type
- Presentation of companies which concern on robotics and related areas
- Teams' Workshop for the teams to meet and discuss their solutions without the competition rush
Date and place
- Robotic Day Competitions will be held on June 21, 2014 in Prague, Czech Republic. The exact address will be announced later.

- All contests are open to participants from any country.
- There is no age limit for the contests.
- Regarding the ongoing negotiation with foreign organisers of similar events, it is possible the event contests will be extended.
- Do you have something robot-related you could show? Let us know!
Company presentations:
- During the Robotic day, there will be a possibility for the companies to show what they do. It can be in the form of scheduled demo, in a stand, during the on-stage company presentation etc. Please contact us to discuss more: web form.
Student projects:
- In addition to contests, there will be also student project presentations held at Robotic Day. If you want to present something, contact us using the web form.
Teams' workshop:
- In connection with the contest, the Team's Workshop will be held. Its programme will be influenced mainly by you - the workshop is here for you to discuss and debate with other teams without the competition rush. Use this opportunity to "show off" your robot as well as hear from the others. Ideally, you should present the basic concept of your robot, its HW and SW, interesting technical details and good or bad experiences etc. It will not be graded, it is held for the robotic community to transfer the knowledge and experiences and make contacts. It is very useful that if you fight with something, someone else helps as he did that already before.
If needed, computer & data projector will be availabe for presentations (pdf, ppt etc.)
